Oedaldo Camping Trip

Hello again! Lindsey and I had a 3-day weekend this week due to the Korean holiday of Chuseok. Chuseok is basically like the Korean version of Thanksgiving with no football or turkey. Since 3-day weekends are rare for us here and this is our last one we were planning on traveling. We were going to head to Gyeongju which was the first capital of the Korean empire and there is lots of temples and history there. In the end though, we just didn't feel like going. Instead, we went camping on Oaidal (pronounced "way dal") island with our neighbors Codie and Lindsey. We wanted to go to a different island but this one was the cheapest to get to and it was close. We had a great time there though. We stayed right on the beach in some bungalows at the water park. There is a water park in the summer but its closed now so it was like being on an abandoned island. It was really fun. We had a big fire and drank lots of beer. We made hobo dinners which were delicious and it was just all around enjoyable. Here are some pictures of our adventure.
